Progress Update: A New Logo?

Hey y’all! As I’m racing the calendar before school starts, I’ve made a bunch of progress on writing and marketing. Yes, somehow between work, watching the Olympics, and summer schoolwork, I’ve managed a lot of progress. I wanted to share them with you for this week’s post.

Writing

Last night I completed the first set of critiques through my novel, meaning I only have one more set to go before the editing process is complete!

I submitted my short story Faithful Friends to the Clean Fiction Magazine competition. Results will be released in only a few days and I’m very excited!

I began critiquing Amber Skye Mileusnich’s debut novel (to support her, you can find her on Instagram as @amberskyemileusnich)

Marketing

Oh my goodness! My brain is just so full of information after the marketing lessons I received at our writer’s group CHARIS. But I don’t like learning just to forget. I have to apply what I’ve learned to my own business. As a result, here are some of the new updates I’ve ventured upon:

  • I’ve reached over 1,000 accounts on my new Instagram account (@lynneamileusnich_author)
  • I joined the launch team for J. L. Burrows’ upcoming release Freefalling, a Christian dystopian novel. You can visit her Instagram (@jlburrowsauthor) for more information or to join her launch team.
  • I decided that I will be making my own newsletter. While I may still post short stories and devotionals from time to time, my focus will be centered on my newsletter. But don’t worry, my goal is to stay as interesting as possible!
  • Last but CERTAINLY not least, is my new LOGO!! It’s for my website, blog, and newsletter. It’s been an arduous process to create, but I’m pleased with the result. Here is my new logo!!
